Salmon Pâté

This pâté is perfect to share with friends and family on warmer days.
This fresh recipe has a mild flavor and is less cloying than salmon pâtés made with smoked salmon.
You can also use this pâté to prepare salads.

Ingredients:

• 1 salmon fillet, about 300g (10.5 oz)
• 150 g (5.3 oz) of mayonnaise
• 2 tablespoons of cream
• 1 tablespoon of ketchup
• 1 tablespoon of olive oil
• 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
• Chopped fresh chives
• Lime juice
• Salt
• Pepper

Instructions:

1. Season the salmon on both sides with salt, pepper, and lime juice.
2. In a frying pan, heat the olive oil.
   Fry the salmon fillet over medium heat for 4 minutes on each side.
   After this time, remove the salmon to a plate.
3. Remove the skin and bones from the fish and use two forks to shred it well. Place it in a bowl and let it cool for 5 minutes.
4. To the salmon, add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and cream.
   Mix very well and finally, incorporate the mayonnaise and chives.
   After everything is well mixed, refrigerate for at least 2 hours until it is thoroughly chilled.
