Condensed Milk Dessert

This dessert is simply divine.
If you'd like, you can use other types of cookies such as almond cookies.
You can also serve this sweet treat in individual bowls.

Ingredients:

• 1 can of condensed milk (397g / 14 oz)
• 400 ml (13.5 fl oz) of heavy cream
• 4 gelatin leaves
• 80 ml (2.7 fl oz) of milk
• 200g (7 oz) of crushed Maria biscuits
• 250g (8.8 oz) of sugar
• 250 ml (8.5 fl oz) of water
• 10 egg yolks
• 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions:

1. Soak the gelatin leaves in cold water for 5 minutes.
2. In a small saucepan, heat the milk.
   Once it begins to boil, add the drained gelatin leaves and stir.
   Turn off the heat after mixing well.
3. Whip the heavy cream until fluffy and voluminous.
   Add the condensed milk and continue to whip until well combined.
   Stir in the gelatin dissolved in milk.
4. In a large bowl or individual bowls, layer alternating layers of crushed biscuits and the white cream.
   Chill in the refrigerator until it firms up.
5. In another small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and a cinnamon stick.
   Stir.
   Once it starts boiling, let it boil for 7 minutes.
   Turn off the heat and let it cool down.
6. Thoroughly mix the egg yolks using a fork.
7. Remove the cinnamon stick from the sugar syrup.
   Gradually add the egg yolks while stirring constantly with a fork.
8. Return to the heat and continue stirring with a wooden spoon.
   Turn off the heat once the yolks thicken but before they start boiling.
   Allow to cool completely.
9. Once everything is cold, cover the dessert with the egg yolk sweet mixture.
   Chill in the refrigerator until it's nice and cool.
